Embraer Buys Remaining EZ Air Stake From Safran Cabin

Full control of EZ Air Interior strengthens industrial integration with Safran Cabin assets in Brazil and Mexico.

By Brazil Stock Guide – Embraer S.A. (NYSE: EMBJ; B3: EMBJ3) has acquired the remaining 50% stake in its EZ Air Interior Limited joint venture with Safran Cabin (EPA: SAF), consolidating full ownership of the Mexico-based operation and integrating selected cabin manufacturing assets in Brazil.

The deal covers the EZ Air Interior facility in Chihuahua, Mexico, established in 2012 with Safran Cabin, which produces interior components exclusively for Embraer’s E-Jets program, including overhead bins, galleys, lavatories and floor panels. It also includes the integration of certain Safran Cabin operations in Jacareí, São Paulo state, focused on Embraer programs. Non-Embraer-related engineering activities in Brazil remain with Safran Cabin.

Embraer said the transaction strengthens its industrial footprint and supply-chain control across key cabin systems, supporting long-term production efficiency and program expansion. The deal was completed after regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.

Chief Executive Francisco Gomes Neto said the company “continuously evaluates opportunities for value creation” and that the agreement reinforces its expansion strategy, while thanking Safran Cabin for a “long-standing successful partnership.”

Safran Cabin remains part of Safran’s global aerospace interiors business, while Embraer continues to deepen vertical integration across its commercial aviation platform.
