By Brazil Stock Guide – Embraer SA (B3: EMBJ3; NYSE: EMBJ) delivered 65 aircraft in the second quarter of 2026, its strongest performance for the period in 16 years, as the Brazilian planemaker continued to ramp up production across its commercial and executive aviation businesses.
The total represented a 48% increase from the first quarter and a 7% gain from the same period a year earlier, according to figures released by Embraer on Thursday. In the first half of 2026, the company delivered 109 aircraft, up about 20% from 91 units in the first six months of 2025.
Commercial aviation accounted for 20 deliveries in the quarter, including six E195-E2 aircraft, the largest jet currently produced by Embraer in that segment. The commercial unit doubled deliveries from the first quarter, when 10 aircraft were handed over, and rose 5% from the second quarter of 2025, when Embraer delivered 19 commercial jets.
Executive aviation remained the largest contributor by volume, with 45 jets delivered between April and June. That was a 55% increase from 29 aircraft in the first quarter and an 18% rise from 38 jets in the same period last year.
The company said the executive aviation performance reflected higher deliveries of both light and midsize jets, supported by solid demand and continued operating efficiency. Embraer reported no deliveries in its defense and security segment during the quarter.
Embraer maintained its full-year guidance for 2026. The company expects to deliver 80 to 85 commercial aircraft and 160 to 170 executive jets this year. At the midpoint of both ranges, the outlook implies annual growth of about 6%.
The São Paulo-based manufacturer is one of the world’s leading aerospace companies, producing aircraft for commercial, executive, defense, security and agricultural markets. Founded in 1969, Embraer has delivered more than 9,000 aircraft and says one of its planes takes off somewhere in the world every 10 seconds.
