Plateau was announced in October last year, when Klabin reached four investment agreements involving special purpose entities under its control. Company earns top CDP Triple A rating across climate, forests, water
Klabin said also it has achieved a Triple A rating from the Carbon Disclosure Project, placing the company among a small group of global firms with the highest possible score across all major environmental metrics.
The company said it received the top grade simultaneously in Climate Change, Forests and Water Security, areas assessed annually by the CDP to measure corporate environmental governance, transparency and progress toward long-term resilience.
According to a market filing, Klabin was one of only a few companies worldwide to achieve the maximum score in all three categories. The CDP evaluation considers not only policy commitments, but also disclosure quality, risk management and measurable performance.
The company said the result reinforces its position among global sustainability leaders, highlighting robust environmental governance and comprehensive reporting practices. Klabin added that the recognition underscores its strategy of integrating environmental stewardship with long-term value creation and business resilience.
