Embraer commercial jet deliveries

By Brazil Stock Guide – Embraer SA’s commercial aviation unit has expanded aircraft deliveries by an average of 12% a year since 2021, as the Brazilian manufacturer targets 80 to 85 commercial jet deliveries in 2026.

The company, traded as EMBR3 in São Paulo and ERJ in New York, delivered 48 commercial aircraft five years ago. Rodrigo Silva e Souza, vice president of marketing at Embraer Commercial Aviation, said the pace reflects the company’s ability to navigate supply-chain constraints that have affected the broader aerospace industry.

“The pace is well above the industry average and shows how successful Embraer has been in dealing with supply-chain problems,” Silva said at an event with journalists on Thursday.

Silva said Embraer remains confident it will meet its delivery forecast for this year. The planemaker has already delivered more than 16 aircraft above the volume recorded in the same period last year, a performance 15% higher than a year earlier, he said.

The executive said Embraer’s commercial aviation business is in a stronger position after a period marked by the collapse of a planned tie-up with Boeing Co. (BA), the Covid-19 pandemic and the reintegration of the commercial aviation division into the Brazilian company.

“After years of turbulence, with the failure to complete the partnership with Boeing, the Covid-19 pandemic and the reintegration of commercial aviation into Embraer, we have reached a very solid level and are prepared for consistent and predictable growth,” he said.

Silva also said pressure on airlines from higher fuel costs is supporting demand for regional jets, including aircraft made by Embraer. The E175, he said, has become an important tool for carriers seeking to maintain routes in a difficult operating environment.

“The E175, for example, helps airlines preserve their networks in a challenging environment,” Silva said.

Embraer’s commercial aviation backlog recently exceeded $15 billion, surpassing the previous record of $14.5 billion reached at the end of 2025.

Silva also highlighted the performance of Embraer’s E2 family against Airbus SE’s (AIR) A220. He said the E2 accounted for 76% of sales in its category last year, compared with the A220.
