LATAM Brazil Expands 14% as New Routes Boost Connectivity

<p>Strong domestic growth keeps load factor above 85%; 8 more routes due before year-end.</p>

(NYSE: LTM / B3: LTM / SSE: LTM) expanded its available seat capacity (ASK) by 14% year-on-year in September 2025, marking one of its fastest post-pandemic expansions in Brazil. The company continues to strengthen its national network, opening five new routes — Bonito–Guarulhos, Dourados–Guarulhos, Fortaleza–Paranaíba, Florianópolis–Porto Alegre, and Belo Horizonte–Porto Alegre.

The airline also launched a new international service between Buenos Aires (Aeroparque) and Porto Alegre, further improving Southern Cone connectivity.

At the group level, LATAM’s consolidated capacity rose 8.7% YoY, driven by a 9.6% increase in international operations and robust growth in Brazil’s domestic segment. Passenger traffic (RPK) increased 8.8%, with the Brazil unit up 17%, highlighting strong local demand and network efficiency.

As a result, the group load factor remained solid at 84.2%, while LATAM Brazil reached 85%, up 2.2 percentage points from a year earlier. The group carried 7.3 million passengers in September, an 8% increase YoY, totaling 64.5 million travelers between January and September.

In cargo operations, available ton-kilometers (ATK) reached 688 million, up 2.9% from the same month last year, supported by demand in regional logistics corridors.

Looking ahead, LATAM Brazil plans to launch at least eight new domestic routes by year-end, including Congonhas–São Luís, Guarulhos–Boa Vista, Guarulhos–Ribeirão Preto, Guarulhos–Uberaba, Galeão–Curitiba, Brasília–Foz do Iguaçu, and seasonal flights such as Galeão–Belém (for COP30) and Congonhas–Teresina.
