By Brazil Stock Guide – Odfjell Terminals South America (OTSA), the largest bulk liquid terminal network in South America, announced on LinkedIn the appointment of Edison Terra as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective April 1, 2026. He will succeed Ary Serpa Jr., who retires on March 31 after 47 years with the company and will remain as a board director within the group.

OTSA connects sea and land operations at strategic hubs across Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Peru. Its core business is the safe and efficient handling and storage of bulk liquids, while certain terminals also manage dry cargo, including grains and minerals. The company plays a key logistical role in supporting chemical, industrial and fuel supply chains throughout the region.

Many industries depend on essential liquids to manufacture everyday goods. Components used in pharmaceuticals, plastic bottles and household products may pass through OTSA’s facilities before reaching end markets, underscoring its position as an integrated and fundamental link in customers’ value chains.

The leadership shift signals continuity with renewal. Edison Terra is an engineer who built a more than 30-year executive career at Braskem, where he most recently served as Executive Vice President for Olefins and Polyolefins in South America, bringing extensive regional and international experience.

OTSA shares common shareholders with Odfjell SE but operates independently, and is expected to maintain its operational discipline while advancing strategic initiatives across its South American platform.
