By Brazil Stock Guide – Oncoclínicas (B3: ONCO3) is shifting to a “back to basics” strategy, according to Brazil Journal. CEO Bruno Ferrari acknowledged mistakes in the company’s push into hospital projects and said the focus will return to oncology clinics and partnerships with hospitals. Smaller units will be closed, with operations concentrated in larger centers to boost efficiency.

The move comes alongside a planned R$2 billion capital increase, expected to cut leverage from 4.4x to around 2x. Ferrari said investors should see improvements in third-quarter results and dismissed rumors about his departure, stressing he has full support from the board.
